About LabX

LabX is an online marketplace and a resource to buy and sell laboratory equipment and related high-tech products. Professionals visit the LabX website to buy and sell instruments, accessories, parts, supplies and more and connect with other vendors, end-users, and manufacturers. LabX simply connects buyers and sellers; we do not sell the equipment you find listed.

LabX was originally founded in 1995, with a focus solely on laboratory equipment. The LabX website grew from a simple classified website into a dynamic online auction platform. LabX was originated by Bob Kafato who spent many years as a service and sales rep for scientific products. Specializing in analytical instruments and HPLC, Bob built the LabX platform around his acute knowledge of the industry and a flair for knowing what scientists in the lab were looking for. LabX was developed with a customer-centric mindset and continues to deliver top quality customer experience and a growing marketplace for effective buying and selling.

Over time, LabX expanded as a business-to-business marketplace serving not only the analytical chemistry, clinical laboratory and life science markets, but into related industries including: industrial processing (pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and packaging), healthcare and medical equipment, electronics and test equipment and semiconductor equipment. LabX continues to be a leading website in each of these industries for buyers and sellers to connect.

We pride ourselves in keeping LabX easy to use while being incredibly effective.

As we expanded our business and product portfolio, LabX has become part of the larger organization called theLabX Media Group and it includes the following publications and websites:
